Once a full assessment has been made we will discuss all options for treatment with you.
An oral cancer check is also carried out at every check-up appointment which is why we still recommend seeing your dental professional on a regular basis. We advise this even if you have dentures with no remaining teeth. The earlier mouth cancer is detected the better the outcome and treatment options. This is why we treat every patient as an individual and we will advise you on how often you should attend for a routine check-up. Some patients are advised to come in more often than others depending on their level of risk.
