lindsey whitfield dentist salisbury twenty twenty

Dr Lindsey Whitfield

Lindsey qualified as a dentist from Kings College, London in 1988, spending the first few years of her career in the hospital sector in the specialised departments of Periodontology, Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and also provided dental treatment for patients with spinal injuries at Stoke Mandeville Hospital National Spinal Injuries centre.

Soon after, she become a Fellow of the Royal College pf Surgeons in England before having 3 children, during which time she continued to work part time in general dental practice.

More recently, she has spent 2 years learning how to plan, place and restore dental implants and has spent the last 4 years training to use dental lasers to a high standard, gaining a Diploma from the Fotona LAHA Institute in Slovenia, and a Masters in Laser Dentistry from The University Cattolica in Rome.

Lindsey’s focus has always been on minimally invasive treatments that respect the tissues and Lasers have greatly enhanced her ability to achieve this.

Having been a practice owner before, she is looking forward to developing her own unique practice in Salisbury.

Outside work, Lindsey has travelled to provide dental treatments to poor communities in a remote region of Rwanda. She lives near Salisbury with her husband and 3 children and enjoys cooking, walking in the countryside with her dogs and horseriding.
